We are still fighting the forces of apathy in our house move project. It seems that we are the only people that actually want it to happen with any degree of urgency.
All the others are content to let it slide, knowing they will get paid just the same in the end. But look at it from my point of view - it's taken 5% of my entire life so far.
Today we put the first layer of paint on the disaster badger so now it's a dull clay colour. Jof has added the ghost of the hangรจd man to our spooky Lego torture house.
At lunchtime it started snowing gently, it is April, after all. Briefly, it was sunny at the same time, but we didn't see a snowbow (frozen rainbow). It didn't really stop (although it was never going to settle) so we got to Thursday Park with little snowflakes landing in our ears. We knew the JBs were in northern territories and that Ben was with other friends. But as the park was completely empty we messed about on all the baby stuff and scooted on to tunnel park where we did the same. All that scooting and running and climbing was warming and we got home quite pink.
At home we packed the really really long things that were too big for any of the other boxes. The British flag saw WW2 action in the Middle East, the carved Zulu spear is 5 ft long and there's also a Pompey flag and 2 plastic tridents from halloween.
